Get Fit to Run!
The most common mistake most people make when they set out to get fit is that they just hit the pavement without the necessary tools and techniques. This usually ends in an injury that stops you in your tracks and sets you back a few weeks, not to mention costing you a few trips to the physio.
This three-hour running workshop will provide you with the right tools to get you started, or get you back in your running shoes!
You will learn how to:
- Run with ease
- Build up your stamina slowly
- Avoid injury – Correct your posture
- Improve your technique
- Increase your speed
- Increase your strength and cardiovascular fitness
About Our Presenter
As a senior Pilates specialist, Melissa has been a dedicated student of Pilates for almost three decades and began her teaching career in 1999.
Renowned for her rehabilitation expertise, applying her advanced Pilates knowledge with dancers, athletes and runners as well as people with injuries, disabilities and debilitating medical conditions. She also specialises in working with pre and post-natal and menopausal women.
In 2016, Melissa was selected to become a Master Trainer for Runity as a running coach and uses these advanced skills to further complement her Pilates teaching practice.
